Tonight: Sustainability and Slow Seafood at Hayes Street Grill
Slow Food San Francisco's Convivial Table ― called the Dinner Club back in the day ― gathers tonight at Hayes Street Grill. Expect a healthy serving of foodie chatter along with local, sustainable seafood. Tonight's event has proved so popular, organizers moved it to a larger dining room, all the better to hear Hayes Street co-owner and Examiner food critic Patricia Unterman, joined by Paul Johnson of Monterey Fish Market and S.F. fisherman Larry Collins. One warning from the event Web site: Dinner starts promptly at 7 p.m. So be on time. Ordering info after the jump.![]()
