The 29th Annual Santa Cruz Clam Chowder Cook-Off & Festival, a benefit for the city's Parks and Rec Department, is set to steam up the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk on Saturday. It should provide excellent cover for adults looking for an excuse to ride the
Sea Swings. Parks and Rec hopes to exceed the $66,000 raised last year. That's an awful lot of bowls of Boston and Manhattan goodness.
