Saturday at Omnivore: Non-Green Kermit Conducts Free Wine Tasting

​Around these parts, Kermit is not green, nor does he play the banjo ― though he has been known to pluck a guitar on occasion. The Kermit of whom we speak is not a world-renowned frog (or, for that matter, an infamously heavy-fisted professional basketball player from the '70s), but a legendary Berkeley-based wine importer. On Saturday, Kermit Lynch will appear at Omnivore Books in San Francisco to unveil tastings of his company's latest discoveries and read portions from his tracts Adventures on the Wine Route and Inspiring Thirst.
