At #3, Pizzeria Delfina's face-melting panna pie beat out offerings from Gialina (#14) and A16 (#17). Now, in his latest missive, he's naming Bi-Rite Creamery's salted caramel ― perhaps that enterprise's most compelling signature flavor ― as one of the five very best desserts he inhaled in 2009.
