iPhone App of the Week: Spot, Tweet, and Check In with Foodspotting

​Dish-share startup Foodspotting has released its Foodspotting Lite iPhone app, which lets users share food sightings in real time. The best part? The free app lets you simultaneously submit a finding, tweet it, and check in on Foursquare. Load the app, scroll through others' food sightings, and click the photo icon to chronicle what it is and where you're at. As you submit your finding, you can select to automatically send it to Twitter and check in on Foursquare. ​
Since this is the app's first version, search functionality isn't baked in yet. But you should be able to search for foods in the next version, Foodspotting cofounder Alexa Andrzejewski told us. Also, to enable the Twitter and Foursquare updates, you need to link your accounts from your settings on the Web site (something not yet possible via the app). Once you're linked, you should be good to go.

Word has it that a Flickr integration is in the works, which would seal a Flickr-Twitter-Foursquare trifecta.
