Beautifull Readying Its Second Location, This Time in the Inner Sunset

The health-oriented prepared foods shop opens this Saturday in the former Pasta Pomodoro (pictured above).

​The Inner Sunset location of upscale health-oriented food shop Beautifull is slated to open Saturday (the original Laurel Heights store opened last April). The Pasta Pomodoro space at 816 Irving (at Ninth Ave.) has been remade as an open kitchen line with expansive display case and 24-seat dining room, with a few more seats in the small back patio and, just as in Laurel Heights, lots of expected curbside pick-up. Beautifull's kitchen team remains the same (executive chef Donna Insalaco, and former Aqua exec chef Ron Boyd, whose title here is director of R&D). The company says it's seeking to expand throughout the Bay Area this year, and is said to be currently scouting locations in the South Bay.
