Bake Sale Benefit Brings Out Sweets for Haiti

J. Birdsall Oakland's Pizzaiolo was one of three locations for Saturday's Bakesale for Haiti, a fundraiser organized by chef Samin Nosrat. Volunteer bakers contributed goodies to the effort, which also took place at Bi-Rite Market in the Mission and at Gioia Pizzeria in North Berkeley. As of Sunday night, Nosrat was still counting the take.
