SOMA special: The spinach- and feta-stuffed Mediterranean.
Fri., Jan. 8, 2010

Crêperie Saint Germain's hyping of the buckwheat flour in its crisp-edged crêpes as "healthlicious" might be more Left Coast than Left Bank, but still: the vegetable- and feta-packed Mediterranean is a damn sight more interesting than your typical meatless sandwich. And even when the weather is brisk enough to justify a scarf as essential outerwear rather than super-cute accessory, the Saint Germain truck offers up a taste of bona fide family-operated S.F. street food without all the tweet-y buzz.
