18 Reasons Class Seeks to Turn Your Little Darling into a Food Writer

Warning! No one really, really old will be admitted to an upcoming food writing class at 18 Reasons (593 Guerrero at 18th St.), called Peanut Butter and the Pen: Food Writing for Kids. On Feb. 6, 18 Reasons is teaming up with Take My Word For It! ― that's a local creative writing org geared to the kiddie set. The two-hour Peanut Butter class is for little ones in grades 3 to 5. Budding Ruth Reichls and Mark Bittmans will do food tastings, read the work of established writers, and work on their own writing. Spiral notebook and pencil required; the $20 advance ticket is a must.
