Street-Food Vendor Gobba Gobba Hey Is Offering a Boxed Set for Christmas
| T. Palmer |
Given that GGH was named after the popular Ramones song "Gabba Gabba Hey" and Gdula often writes about music for publication, the boxed set makes a lot of sense, following the same format bands do to offer something special to fans. The GGH set will include handmade gobs in a dozen flavors: old-school chocolate and vanilla, orange cardamom ginger with saffron, mocha almond, ancho cinnamon chocolate, spiced pumpkin with buttered rum, matcha green tea with lemongrass ginger frosting, gingersnap with raspberry buttercream, strawberry basil "shortcake," oatmeal cream pie, lemon thyme, chocolate raspberry absinthe, and carrot cake.
Gdula is taking orders for the $25 boxed sets until Dec.13 or they sell out (whichever comes first), and is providing Bay Area delivery between December 19 and 21. More ordering info is on the GGH Web site.
