Friday Lunches at Jardinière This Month
The normally dinner-only Jardinière (300 Grove at Franklin) is opening for lunches Fridays this month (except Dec. 25, of course) to accommodate all that Nutcrackering and other excuses for daylight feasting. Offerings include seasonal starters along the lines of winter squash soup with goat cheese panini, chioggia beet salad with cardooons, fingerling potatoes and a farm egg, and 5 Dot Ranch hangar steak salad, all priced between $9 and $16. Entrées ($15-$23) encompass Liberty Farms duck pastrami, Maine diver scallops, and a rabbit sausage bread salad sandwich, only the sandwich part is in quotes.
