Details on Buying an Organic Holiday Ham from Ryan Farr's 4505 Meats

Turns out deserving charities won't be the only ones getting a taste of 4505 Meats ham this season. Star butcher Ryan Farr has more details about 4505's holiday ham offerings. Each one is 22 pounds, more or less, from Iowa organic hog farm Becker Lane. Each will undergo brining by 4505, and you'll have to pick it up yourself. Cost: $175 (just under $8 per pound). Each comes with a roasting pan and an electric thermometer. You'll have to pay half up front via PayPal, then show up with cash or check on pickup day. Order by Tuesday, Dec. 15.
