Top That: Eight Pizza Toppings Ranging from the Silly to the Queasy

When someone hands you a piece of pizza at 2 a.m. after a night of bar hopping, chances are you don't even notice the toppings before wolfing it down. But even drunk, you might just think twice if one of these crazy toppings showed up on your slice.

8. Cinnamon Peach Dessert Pizza

Despite an initial "ick" factor, it looks quite tasty. Because really, how can you go wrong with peaches, cinnamon, and marshmallows?

7. Squid Ink Pizza
Oh, Japan: You never cease to amaze us with your wacky food mashups. Case in point: squid pizza, which replaces tomato sauce with salty-sweet squid ink sauce. And a handful of shrimp, just to up the amount of sea life.

6. Shrimp Nude Pizza
Another take on the shrimp-filled pizza, Mr. Pizza's Shrimp Nude pie features blue cheese sauce and "a smooth cream cheese mousse" that meets "plump, succulent cajun shrimp". Sadly, you'll have to take a trip to Korea to try this one.

5. Crocodile Pizza
Why let a crocodile eat you for dinner when you can eat it instead? This saltwater crocodile pizza from the Australian Hotel in the Rocks reportedly tastes like shark, which itself tastes a bit like swordfish.

4. McDonald's Pizza
Just add some bacon to this one for a guaranteed heart attack. All you need to make this DIY topping are crust, tomato sauce, fries, a Mickey D's burger, and a scattering of McNuggets.

3. Ice Cream Pizza
London's ECO Restaurant serves up this mozzarella, ham, pistachio, and ice cream pizza in its Pregnancy Pizza line. Other pizzas designed for the quirky cravings of knocked-up customers include steak and seeds, baked beans and sultanas, and fresh salmon and sour cream.

2.. Fried Egg and Anchovy Pizza
This one isn't so much weird as, well, fascinating. Could the ultimate dinner food and the ultimate breakfast food come together to make something tasty? Delicious Magazine seems to think so.

Another fantastically weird Japanese creation, mayonnaise and corn pizza might be the most nausea-inducing pizza on the whole list. This is one variation on the pizza pie that we're happy to say is not remotely for sale in San Francisco.
