First-Ever Taste of Fillmore Drops Tomorrow

Merchants and organizers are billing it as the First Annual Taste of Fillmore -- it comes to life tomorrow, noon-5 p.m., on Fillmore between Pine and California. Expects a fashion show, live jazz, and -- naturally - a semi-heavy restaurant presence. 
Corner of Fillmore and Pine, you'll be able to check out cooking demos from the likes of Pizzeria Delfina (will they haul over a PizzaHacker-like Franken-Weber?), 1300 on Fillmore, and Dosa, among others, and nibbles from 10 joints, such as Woodhouse Fish Co., The Elite Café, and La Boulange. Attending wineries include Ardente Estate, Barber Cellars, and Beaucanon Estate.
Sounds totally chill -- and with better eats than the meats-on-a-stick you'll be gnawing Sunday.
