Cheese Plus Does Fall Tomorrow with Ridiculous Amounts of Artisan Schwag
Cheese Plus (2001 Polk at Pacific) is celebrating its fifth annual fall harvest artisan food festival tomorrow, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Two dozen artisan food producers are on board, including Michael Recchiuti, Cowgirl Creamery, Fra'Mani, the Brown Butter Cookie Company, Ciao Bella, and more: Not a bad lineup. emporium is offering 20 percent off books and housewares, from cheese knives and fondue gear to cutting boards and cheesecloth. The festivities are free, and there'll be a soundtrack of live music. And if you've been putting off getting your dull knives sharpened, bring 'em on down between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. For a small fee per blade, Perfect Edge will get them ripe-tomato-slicing sharp.
