'Tasty Temptations' at Friday's Beats for Boobs Fundraiser at 111 Minna

​Beats for Boobs is the attention-getting name for a cutting-edge breast cancer event this Friday. Expect an evening of fire performances, a fashion show, a prize-dispensing Boobie Wheel, and DJs at this annual benefit for the Breast Cancer Emergency Fund, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Project Open Hand (the org that provides cooked meals for the homebound and critically ill). There'll be food, too, of course. Taste Temptations -- in B4B event parlance, those are snacks -- are provided by Sauce restaurant, Shine Lounge, Radio Africa & Kitchen, The Cake Gallery (let them eat Chocolate Breasts cake?), and The Irish Bank, among others. The party goes down from 6 p.m .to 2 a.m. at 111 Minna Gallery (111 Minna at Second St.). Tickets are $25, which includes a Boobie Wheel ticket. For $50 you get VIP entry, which comes with an event shirt and dog tag, as well as two Boobie Wheel tickets.
