If you pass by the windy bit of Lombard Street tomorrow morning and see visions of lollipop trees and gumdrop lanes, don't worry: It isn't a bad acid trip.
SFist reports that the iconic portion of the boulevard will be closed down and decorated like
Candy Land so that patients aged six to 10 from UCSF Children's Hospital can enjoy playing a life-sized version of the classic board game, which turns 60 this year.
The Examiner adds that the transformation will begin some time around 4 a.m., with the actual event to start at 10 a.m.
