Let's do lunch:
Like you're not totally going to be consuming hemp later tonight. Start to condition your bloodstream at lunch, says SF Weekly food critic Meredith Brody, with a spinach salad with mushrooms, red onions, toasted walnuts, and roasted red peppers with creamy hemp dressing at Herbivore (983 Valencia at 21st St., or 531 Divisadero at Hayes).

Drink therapy:
It's been reworked more times than Joan Rivers' face: Check out happy hour specials at newly remodeled The Café (2369 Market at Castro), 4-9 p.m. Stick around, and you'll have a nice foundation buzz to face Boy Bar.

Tomorrow's the 22nd anniversary of Toronado (547 Haight at Fillmore). Celebrate by sucking down special beers on tap and special bottle releases all day, starting at 11:30 a.m.
