What began as an afternoon toast to the King of Pop on Thursday afternoon between HS chef/owner Jake Godby and operations manager Sean Vahey became a beautiful sorbet by Friday, as Godby mixed and froze a concoction of Kermit Lynch Cotes du Rhone and Coke Classic. SFoodie was skeptical (would it taste like a bad acid trip?), but pleasantly surprised by the grape fizzy slush action. It's the flavor of a childhood gone wrong.
HS rotates (and sells out of) its frozen treats often, so you may be outta luck and have to turn your own water into wine. But there's no harm in requesting a lil Jesus Juice anyway, just so Godby and Vahey know there are customers who'd want to bring it back from the dead.
