Tour de Fromage Rides Again
| The French are jealous |
"The ride will be moderately difficult: Around 10 to 15 miles, but at a leisurely pace," advised organizer Juliana Gallin. She also said that, because the Coalition likes its riders to be surprised, the exact route is kept under wraps -- cheesecloth? -- until they're actually on the Tour. After the last shop stop, riders will picnic and share their booty, so bringing cash for making cheese purchases is recommended at this otherwise free event. The Tour de Fromage takes place on Saturday, May 30, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; meet at the statue on the corner of Fell and Baker in the Panhandle.
