Friday Sundae: Mitchell's Caramel Dazzler

For the past month, the featured sundae at the recently remodeled Mitchell's Ice Cream (688 San Jose at 29th St.) has been the Caramel Dazzler ($6.75), with caramel-swirled dulce de leche ice cream, hot caramel, hot fudge, whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles, a cherry, and two giant pretzel sticks. The name of Caramel Dazzler may cease to be posted, and the giant pretzel sticks may disappear after this week (which is fine, since it's the strangest part of this creation anyway, even with the welcome hint of salt). But this is a decadent combo worth remembering and re-ordering.
