Top Chocolatier Pairing This Saturday

Personal extensive research done strictly on your behalf has concluded that CocoaBella Chocolates has succeeded in selecting three of this country's most innovative modern candy wizards for its upcoming "Top Chocolatier Pairing Event." Missouri's Christopher Elbow (who also operates a San Francisco boutique at 401 Hayes), Oregon's Jeff Shepherd of Lillie Belle and Connecticut's Fritz Knipschildt will be on hand to unveil their new collective magic.  These three leave few flavors unturned, from blue cheese (Lillie Belle) and absinthe (Elbow) to escargot (which Knipschildt serves with chocolate at his restaurant). Those who play it safer than that needn't worry as they have long mastered the classics as well. This takes place on Saturday, January 17 from 8 to 9 p.m. at CocoaBella (2102 Union). Admission is $20, which also includes drinks.
