San Francisco Dine About Town 2009

San Francisco's eighth annual Dine About Town takes place from January 15 to 31. Participating restaurants will offer three-course lunches ($21.95) and/or dinners ($34.95), which might be a good opportunity to try a place that might be normally a little bit further out of financial reach. A small taste of the places on offer: Absinthe (398 Hayes), Campton Place (340 Stockton), Level III (500 Post), Seasons Restaurant (757 Market) and Urban Tavern (333 O'Farrell). -- Tamara Palmer
