TCHO Gets Nutty
San Francisco's only honest-to-goodness bean-to-bar chocolate factory TCHO has announced the beta release of Nutty, a bar made from Peruvian cacao. TCHO's Tasters Circle director Samantha Wayne describes it as having "a complex nutty flavor accented with hints of dark roasted coffee and toasted biscuit."
TCHO was founded by former NASA software developer Timothy Childs and Wired founding publisher Louis Rossetto in 2007 and relies on input from the Tasters Circle (i.e. anyone who takes the time to fill out online feedback forms) to shape flavor profiles of the final product.
"This release is a special favorite around TCHO," says Wayne. I have witnessed fiendishness caused by TCHO's first two beta flavors Chocolatey and Fruity (the latter of which is described and created in the video below) both in myself and in loved ones. So I do not take the company's proclamation lightly and plan to investigate immediately. For the people, of course. -- Tamara Palmer
