Bastille Day is Coming To Chez Papa Resto
Vive la révolution! Sacré blue! And any other cliché French expressions I'm forgetting! Bastille Day is coming up Monday, July 14, and my favorite Frenchies over at Chez Papa Resto are getting ready to celebrate with a three-course prix fixe affair created by Executive Chef David Bazirgan. Entree choices will include Châteauneuf du Pape Braised Lamb Daube with Market Vegetables and Rosemary Oil; Slow Poached Alaskan Halibut with Leek Ribbons, Asparagus, Black Truffle Emulsion, and Sel Gris; Loch Duart Salmon with Citrus Mélange, Orange Braised Fennel and Opal Basil; or Grilled Painted Hills Farm New York Steak with Sauce Béarnaise and Frites. There's at least one word in every entree that I can't pronounce. Very French indeed. It'll cost you $55.00 a piece, or $80.00 with wine pairing.
