Bacar's Sommelier Supper Goes To Provence

This Sunday, May 18th marks the return of the Sommelier Supper at Bacar (448 Brannan at Fourth St.) in SoMa. Come chill with Wine Director Mickey Clevenger as he swings open his chest of fermented goodies, giving us mere mortals a behind-the-scenes look at the process of choosing and pairing new wines for the Bacar wine list. As you might have guessed, this involves a lot of tasting -- to the tune of about two dozen wines for sampling. Afterwards the whole shebang moves upstairs for a family-style dinner.
