New York City-based flashmob-esque pranksters Improv Everywhere have finally bested their own personal best. In the past they've frozen Grand Central Station and the Powell Street Cable Car Turnaround, pulled down their pants on the subway and the BART, but their latest foray into freaking people out -- this time in an L.A. food court -- tops them all by a longshot:
"For our latest mission, 16 agents staged a spontaneous musical in the food court of a Los Angeles shopping mall. We used wireless microphones to amplify the vocal performances and mix them together with the music through the mall’s PA system. We filmed the mission with hidden cameras, mostly behind two-way mirrors. Apart from our performers, no one in the food court was aware of what was happening."
I guess there's only one thing left to ask: Can I get a napkin please?
