Nothing Says I Love San Francisco More Than a Hashtag
@robertmurray Sophisticated dogs
As if San Francisco needs more of an ego boost. The city that consistently ranks as the best in America now has another platform to show off just how awesome it really is -- you know -- just in case someone needs reminding.
"There's no wrong way to love San Francisco" is the brain child of Oscar Nilsson, an advertising student at the Academy of Art who along with friends created the project as a way for people to capture the city's colorful and off-beat diversity that goes beyond the obvious Golden Gate Bridge postcard.
The project is based on Instagram, where people can upload their own quirky photos and videos of the city by using the hashtag #nowrongwaysf. Selected postings are then shared in the main account @nowrongwaysf.
The hashtag currently has over 3,000 posts ranging from the insanely cute (an uber-stylish dog on Haight in horn-rimmed glasses and to-die-for hoodie) to the just plain awesome (a guy in a wheelchair crowd surfing at Outside Lands). Okay, now we're just bragging.
