The queens and kings are in. Leather daddies are shackled up, drag queens have combed their wigs, lesbians, cholas, bois, twinks, and fairies are glittered up and ready. This Saturday, February 2 your favorite queer dance soul party is bringing the ball back. The Third Annual Hard French Winter Ball will take place at The Coconut Grove Grand Ball Room in Santa Cruz, promising an unforgettable night of vinyl soul music, outstanding live performances, and formal (hard) dancing and (hard) cruising.

DJs Brown Amy and Carnita will be spinning vinyl all night long, along with live performances by Dulce De Leche, Rotimi Agbadiaka, DavEnd, and Ebony Jett. Plus, a special guest performance by Glamamore.

See the nominations for Queen and King.

The winning  royalty of this year's ball will receive a variety of gifts from places like Ricksaw Bags, Amoeba Music, Hi Tops, Stony Pony, Ike's Sandwiches, Courtney Trouble/Indie Porn and more. As if this wasn't enough Hard French will also donate money to any organization of the winners' choice.

You can still get your tickets until February 1 at: Hanger, 3128 16th St., S.F. Or at tonight's Something Soul event at the Stud, 399 Ninth St., S.F. And at Saturn Café, 145 Laurel, Santa Cruz.
