You probably already have "end of the world" plans tonight (if not, see our top picks below). Personally, we plan on going out the same way we came in, naked and with a Costco-sized tub of Nutella. But we wouldn't want to go out without some apocalyptic tunes to help soothe the ache of annihilation.

Since you're no doubt sick of R.E.M.'s "It's the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)." we'll skip that one, but don't worry, Lenny Bruce is not afraid! Here are a few other end times jams that help us feel so much better than fine.

Def Leopard "Armaggedon' It"

CCR's "Bad Moon Rising"

Electric Six "Danger! High Voltage"

Metallica "My Apocalypse"

Blondie "Rapture"

Mase "24 Hours to Live"

St Vincent "The Apocalypse Song"

Biggie Smalls "Ready to Die"

Okay, not apocalyptic per se, but capitalizing on the theme of hysteria (over gay marriage in this case), is this delightful video by Garfunkle and Oates "Sex with Ducks"

Prince "1999"
