Beards and Boobs Comedy Show Is Like Ultimate Fighting Championship with Free Pizza

It's that sexy beard. We can't get enough of it!
"The beard fad is in full swing right now," says comedian Justin Alan, producer of the monthly Beards and Boobs Comedy Show. As for that second part? "Who doesn't like boobies?" he replies simply.
And so a show was born.

If, somehow, a quality free comedy show in a cozy dive bar is not enough to draw you out to West Portal on a Friday night, Alan sweetens the deal. The show comes with free pizza, and -- really, you're not sold yet? -- "girls in bikinis and heels" to introduce each comic.
Are you there yet? Or are you folding your arms and deepening your frown over something about objectification?
"All I'm trying to do is make it not a boring same-old comedy show," Alan explains. In a comedy scene as over-saturated as the Bay Area's, he says, "I could go to your show or literally any other show," any night of the week. He's taken a tip from the UFC to make this show unique and interesting: People like girls in bikinis holding signs that tell them what's going on. And he's taken a tip from, I assume, a bunch of poor comedians and stoners: Everything is better when you're holding a free slice of pizza.
If you're still wearing that frown, this month's show, which happens tomorrow night at 8 p.m. is for you. To maintain the equality San Francisco has fought so hard to uphold, tomorrow's Beards and Boobs Comedy Show will not feature a ringside girl in a bikini, but rather a ringside guy in a beard. What else will he be wearing? There's only one way to find out.
