Theater Podcast: Berkeley Rep's Ghost Light Confounds Our Critics
|Ted Deasy and Christopher Liam Moore|
SF Weekly theater reviewers Lily Janiak and Benjamin Wachs recently caught Ghost Light, the Berkeley Repertory Theatre's ambitious exploration of the son of assassinated San Francisco mayor John Moscone finding himself haunted by his father's death while mounting a production of Hamlet. Directed (and also co-conceived and developed) by Jonathan Moscone, the show is a personal look at very public history.
Too bad it didn't work for our critics. Here they hash it over, on a twelve-minute podcast produced by Benjamin Wachs.
Ghost Light continues through February 18 at 2025 Addison (at Shattuck) in Berkeley; 510-647-2949 or www.berkeleyrep.org.
